The New HP TouchPad powered by webOS

On Saturday, I had the pleasure to test drive the HP Touchpad and I was blown away. I have been on the market for a tablet for a while and very hesitant about spending $500 to $600 for something that did not have all the features that would satisfy me.

Ever since HP purchased the Palm last year in 2010, I knew it was a matter of time before they’d put out something great running WebOS. The HP tablet has a brilliant 9.7-inch, 1,024-by-768-pixel touch-screen LCD  which I think is great for watching movies or even photos. This tablet is fast, really fast, between browsing this site and watching a video there was absolutely no lag. According to HP’s ads they have about  a thousand Apps for the tablet, which I’ve not seen yet.

The HP tablet comes in 16 or 32GB of internal storage for $499 and $599. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core APQ8060 1.2GHz processor. There’s also a Bluetooth keyboard, a case, a charging dock
